About Me

First, I'm Gori Amos of the Philly Roller Girls. Second, I haven't played my sport in for-goddamn-ever due to a badly torn medial meniscus (knee cartilage) and a lack of funding to get surgery for said medial meniscus. I will, however, be announcing for the bouts of my darling Rollergirls; at least until I can afford my stupid surgery. Other than that... hmmm. I am very adaptable, therefore, I take a verrry long time to decorate my living space. I can become quite accustomed to, say, having a television in the middle of my bedroom carpet. I'm quite aware that this is a bad habit. When I do decide to decorate, though, I am obsessive about wall hangings being level - one of the only things I'm obsessive about, actually. This is a big problem when one's apartment is actually slanted... You know, the bookcase is tilted to the right, so it makes the picture look crooked even though its not so then you have to make the picture a little more crooked but then it doesn't fit with the lousy uneven light switch plate AAAAAHHHH--- Anyway, I'm in school for the incredibly lucrative career choice that is art education (I really do WANT to be a teacher, though, I swear its not a copout, so don't you roll those eyes at me). Meanwhile, I serve cocktails to miscreants and dream of the day I will live in an apartment that has lots of right angles.
