WINTER STREET

About Me

WINTER STREET, are a young and ambitious band residing in Melbourne. Forming in May 2008 they wasted little time getting their act together, with their first gig coming just two weeks after their first rehearsal together. In July of said year, Winter Street teamed up with Bruce Haymes (Ex Paul Kelly) and Craig Pilkington (Killjoys) to record their debut EP. The EP was released in November in front of a sold out crowd at Miss Libertines, followed by a brief tour of Sydney. On return, Winter Street have continued to play shows around Melbourne, playing venues such as the Gershwin Room, Ding Dong Lounge and Revolver just to name a few, as well as receiving support from local radio stations PBS and SYN fm. Winter Street are now in the process of recording their follow up release, due out mid 2009.
