Peejay a.k.a. Paul Gee was born in Darwin - Australia, given the name Paul George, son of CapeVerdean parents. His love for music came from the influence of his older brothers that were musicians. In school he used to play and sing with his friends and also play at parties as a DJ. In 1997... Peejay, one of his brothers (ACC) and a friend (Caly) form the band called "Melodee", zouk style music with a fusion with RnB, and they made a success with a song called "Pretty Sexy Lady". Since then, while working as a DJ in some African Clubs of Lisbon, he as been developing his skills as a producer, thus creating the production label "LiquidMelodee Productions (www.myspace.com/liquidmelodee)", working with artist and bands like N.J, Mesaro, Kumplice, DarkFaces, The Musicmind Family, Tay-Ron, Sescon without forgeting his biggest production, the female artist Deusa with the R'n'B album "Depois do triunfo". More recently, he produced Soraia's song "Fantasy World" that came out on the CD/DVD compilation "ZonErogen" released by Nichols Erogen team, making that song a great hit in Portugal and France. Peejay's production go from afro music style like Zouk RnB, Cabo Love, to the HipHop and RnB. Now he's preparing to release is first solo album, that already has the hit single "Dar-te Prazer".
