People who are open minded, funny, spontaneous and happy.*****INTELLIGENCE IS A TRUE APHRODISIAC*****WHY NOT LEAVE A COMMENT OR DROP ME A LINE.

Music:

Mostly R&B, Jazz, Some Hip Hop, Reggae and Latin. I do like a variety though,I can deal with and can enjoy most music except for Metal (sorry). Don't sell short Classical and Country music though.

Movies:

The Women, Titanic, Little Miss Sunshine, Harold and Kumaar go to white castles, The Ring (scary movies), Imitation of Life, War flicks....

Television:

History Channel, PBS, King of Queens, DEXTER, Family Guy, Girlfriends, Independent Lens, Monk, Like It Is, Weeds, The Office, The Closer, 24, Ugly Betty, Frontline, POV, I Love Lucy--still funny! I do miss Frasier and six feet under.

Books:

Too many but here are a few you should read. Push by Sapphire, The Isis Papers, Key To The Colors by Frances Cress Wellsing, American Theocracy by Kevin Phillips, Pedagogy of the Opressed by Paulo Friere, The Prophet by Khalil Gibran, Kindred by Octavia Butler (a Black Woman sci-fi writer, a true rarity, she recently passed away), Faces At The Bottom of The Well by Derrick Bell, Kaffir Boy by Mark Mathabane, Bastard Out of Carolina by Dorothy Allison, and Medical Apartheid by Harriet A. Washington. Anything by: Maya Angelou, Ernest Gaines, Toni Morrison, John Irving, Alice Walker, Lolita Files, Edwidge Danticat, Ernest Hemingway, Jane Austen, Stephen King, Connie Brisco, Rollo May, Norman Mailer, Tennesee Williams, Bebe More Campbell (Rest In Peace sweet BeBe), Mary Monroe, Cornell West... There are so many; I've read a LOT, I can recommend something if you'd like...

Heroes:

JESUS CHRIST, Me, Hey, I've been through it and came out STRONG!, Maya Angelou, I can't help but admire that Oprah Winfrey ( she sure is doing good for herself) and Malcolm X (people do understand violence)
