Post

Post is the solo guise for me, James Wilkinson. I play the Trombone in different musical contexts around Melbourne, it's usually music which includes improvisation. Formerly with free jazz noise rock band Bucketrider (www.buckterider.com) and dub-rock pioneers High Pass Filter and currently with the Twich Ensemble (www.anthonypateras.com) and Snuff Puppets (www.snuffpuppets.com). Post is my first solo release and was made on a computer with people playing different instruments. Kate Neal did the string arrangements, Anthony Pateras played the prepared piano, Steve Heather some drums, Rob Fox manipulated bits with his computer, Natatsha Andreson blew her recorder, in addition to all the other fabulous musicians who played and gave their ideas and support. When not playing music I also work recording, mastering and producing different solo artists who create all types of weird and maligned music, so if you want to make a record.......send me an email.POST
