About Me

Well, I erased all my myspace info shit awhlie ago, but since I now live in Norway, I guess it makes sense to put all of that shit right back on here. Gah

My Interests

Poker, Kyaking (although I havent had the opportunity much since I moved to Norway), I once made my own knife - I'd like to try doing that as a hobby, Coffee + Cigarettes (but I'm in the process of quiting and I'm terribly sad about it, being in the mountains - not climbing them, just getting to them someway/somehow and sitting there hehe, swimming, couches, Jonus Capistrats basement

I'd like to meet:

Layne Flack, a internet poker wiz from sweden called H@££INGGOL, hmmmm, mabye Phil Ivy, I dunno anyone nice I guess, Devendra Banheart, Elliott Smith, anyone with a good story

Music:

It changes weekly almost, but I really like Devendra Banhart, Iron & Wine, Joanna Newsome, Jose Gonzalez, Jack Johnson, Mason Jennings, Dispatch, Trampled by Turtles, Norman Blake, bleh lots. .

Movies:

Boonedock Saints, The Usual Suspects, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Waking Life, A Scanner Darkly, Bravehart, American Beauty, Princess Monanoke, -- I really really like movies where there is some sort of intresting dialog, it doesn't really matter what, just that its interesting- -like how the fella from V for Vendetta speaks, or how the english in Lock Stock use rhyming slang, or in Waking Life when they just go from conversation to conversation about different perceptions of dreams, that sort of thing, and I even must say that I dig Romeo and Juliet (the modern version, with decrapio) because the language is fun to listen to, and even.. .. A Knights Tale, where the gambling addict english fellow speaks in circles... ok enough of that,

Television:

been watching 24 a bit lately, interesting. Umm, I like discovery channel alot, they have some awsome shows. Especially 'Dirty Jobs', Psychic Detectives' , anything having to do with WW history, anything having to do with venomous reptiles, shit and I used to have the Travel Channel back in the states, and it was awesome to check out the shows where they went around the world and toured amazing houses.

Books:

The Giver, The Vampire Chronicles (Anne Rice), The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Incident on Hawks Hill, Of Crime and Punishment, A million little pieces, Sounder, anything at all by Roald Dahl-but especially the BFG and The Twits, Lord of the Rings series, hrmmm

Heroes:

First I have to figure out what I admire most in people, and in doing so, must admit my failings because that is why one admires another. I admire someone when there is a group of people, and someone says something dumb or mean and everyone laughs and mr.whoever says something direct like 'thats mean.' Also, anyone that has saved someone elses life, cause that would scare the hell out of me to be in a situation like that, its so much responsability. I admire it when someone has every right to be mad, or insult; because someone has done something terrible or said something terrible, and the person just looks whoever it is in the face, says nothing and walks off. I admire anyone who is faithful to whoever they are with, temptation is always there but it passes with patience, and refusal to do anything about it. I don't know what else, and I dont have anyone in particular in mind, but if you are any of these things I guess you are a hero in my mind.
