Manchester Ceilidh was brought about by the coming together of two of Manchester's best ceilidh bands, The Maerlock and Triple Scotch. Manchester Ceilidh’s debut night in October 2004 proved an astounding success and the event has since continued to grow in size and popularity.
We are now an established not-for-profit organisation, running regular ceilidh nights throughout the year whilst helping to build a vibrant local folk music scene embracing the wide range of traditions from the UK and beyond.
Each night kicks off with a jam session for anyone who wants to join in followed by two live band slots. We are always committed to promoting new, up and coming bands and callers so get in touch and tell us about yourself and your band!
