About Me

I was born and raised in Orange County. In college, I majored in Music Education, but didn't want to be a music teacher; I thought I'd be a church music director or studio musician. After that didn't pan out, I focused my energy on becoming a missionary ethnomusicologist overseas. After studying missiology extensively, networking with others in the field, and even spending a brief period of early 2002 in Kenya, it became evident that the overseas mission field was clearly not my calling. After quite a bit of soul searching and a few twists of fate, I wound up going back to college in 2004 to be an air traffic controller. I was hired by the FAA to work in Seattle, but apparently that didn't work, either. I'm now working as a communications technician for the local cable company there, so I guess I'll just have to see how that works out in the long run.
