I wrote most of this album while living and working (horticulture industry) out in Bourke NSW. The songs Born Again Pigger, and Western Dream were written in Bathurst where I lived for a number of years. The album was recorded at Regency Sound Studio (regencysound.com.au) in SE Qld (just moved back there!). All songs on the album are based on real life characters and true events. Steve Grace was nice enough to let me record 'Life and Times', a song he wrote while travelling in a light aircraft over outback Australia. I was nice enough to record 'Ode to Feral Cats' to showcase the rare talent of Bourke song writer Caleb McIntosh.
