About Me

Hello, and welcome to The Fab CJB in Cyberspace! The Fab CJB has been playing around the Philly are for over 15 years, and each member has played in a number of other Philly bands as well. The Fab CJB mostly plays local bars and private events, bringing their eclectic mix of Classic Rock, Blues, Reggae, Soul, R+B, Jam Band, 50s-60s-70s, and an ever growing list of 60s Garage Band, One-Hit-Wonder classics. You could hear some Muddy Waters at a Fab CJB gig: then again you could also hear some Monkees! The Fab CJB is an admirer of the classics, and loves to touch on the greats at each gig: Stones, Beatles, Allman Brothers Band, Bob Marley, Gratetful Dead, Sam and Dave....since we rarely decide in advance what we are going to play, it's hard to tell you what you will hear on any given night.Thanks for checking out our site, and keep an eye out for our gigs as well as for new tunes to hear! Band Members: The Fab CJB consists of:Ray Heartsh on Bass and Vocals, John Carson on Guitar and Vocals, Al Panebianco on Drums, Chuck Parkinson on Guitar and Vocals, and Rick Fisher on Vocals and the ol' "Mississippi Saxaphone" (Harmonica to the uninitiated!). So...How about a Video or 3 of the FabCJB Live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds Like: The Fab CJB plays lots of classic blues rock and Jam Band, along with stuff as diverse as the Cars and Johnny Rivers: Geetar solos abound, as both guitarists in the Fab CJB grew up on Clapton, Stevie Ray, Allman Brothers Band, the Stones, Carlos Santana...the list could go on. Most Fab CJB cover tunes are re-arranged to suit the band's guitar-oriented approach. The tunes on this Myspace site are instrumentals taken from recent live recordings, and more original material is being recorded in the next few months.
