Naughty Nurses

I wanted to create a space for nurses....naughty & nice!!!Nursing is a large part of who I am, most nurses that I have met feel the same way. I really can't imagine doing any other job....even on the bad days. I know it sounds corny, but I always wanted to be a nurse and as a little kid I was always taking care of others...I graduated from Brockton Hospital School of Nursing in 1993, worked at a psych hospital for about 5 years, overlapping with sub-acute care in a nursing home, then went back to Brockton Hospital for almost 9yrs I work at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston Mass, on a mostly surgical floor, I'm fairly new there (Aug 06) but I am so glad that I made the move. We have been going through negotiations for our contract & the last session went very favorable for the nurses, patients & hospital. Its seems we are going to settle & avoid a strike.I have crossed paths with many nurses in my lifetime, many of my friends are nurses, most of who I work with are nurses, they work in a variety of settings (hospitals, home care, hospice, psychiatric, schools etc...) They are all people that I would love to sit down and have coffee or a drink with.There will be some serious stuff on this space along with some goofy stuff(naughty nurses)so if that offends you I'm sorry, but anyone who knows me knows that type of stuff is expected from me....Neva the Naughty Night Nurse. I just want to commend each & everyone of you for what you do each day....I admire & respect all of you.
