No, Rene and Tom have history...
Tom (vocals) featured briefly in the history of Fast Fingers and the Groove. Clearly, although this association didn't last long, the mutual impressions made did last. When Rene (guitars) ended his own association with FFG, his attention turned to song writing and production. He founded 'The RVL Rockcompany'. Tom was invited by Rene to rekindle their collaboration and to provide his trade mark muscular vocals for Rene's new tunes. This combination yeilded a 5 song EP called INTROSEDUCTION. Rene played all guitars, bass and drums on this album and mixed and produced it as well.
The pair forged ahead with new material in the modern retro rock genre (from Deep Purple/Black Sabbath/Led Zeppelin and Kiss/Michael Schenker/Rainbow to Metallica) and are concurrently writing and recording a new album under the name “PosT†with newcomers Vladik (bass), and Daniel (drums). Together they make a strong collective with good, strong, melodic rock songs.
When you think of KISS with Michael Schenker on lead guitar and with Ronnie James Dio on vocals you pretty much get what PosT is all about.
