"My Vigil for Hope" was a website that I originally created in honor of my friend & Ballston Spa High School classmate, Suzanne Lyall, who disappeared in 1998. Over the years, the website expanded to include missing persons from all over the world. Eventually, I would like to get that same level of data up here. Suzy disappeared in March of 1998. She was returning to her campus in Albany NY and has not been seen since. There were several reports that she got off a CDTA bus at the local stop, but what happened from there we do not know.
Suzy graduated from Ballston Spa (NY) High School in 1996. She went to a couple of colleges before settling at the State University of New York (Albany campus), a little closer to home.
The night that she disappeared she was due to call her family; she had spoken to them the day before to wish her mother a happy birthday - she was close to her family & for her to voluntarily cut off communication with them would be extremely unlikely.
