To meet more Queers who are out, and proud of themselves... Lesbian parties/clubs/pubs have become Walk-in Closets! We owe it to ourselves to live as honestly as possible. Our visibility will normalise homosexuality. We may have been helpless as children, to challenge society's discrimination; Now as adults we have a chance to change the situation - To challenge heterosexism and Queerphobia, and the various inequalities and injustices they cause. This is our responsibility to the young and those in the closet. In doing so we make our community more visible which reinforces the message that 'Queer is alright' and that this is a world made up of different types, not just heterosexuals.
