Marisa Rawlins Bradfield has been singing since the age of seven. She has sung for radio, television, and feature Films including The Osbournes, Newlyweds, and Apollo 13. She attended the Los Angeles Music and Art School as a child, and later was accepted into The Los Angeles Co. High School for the Performing Arts. While attending High School, she was asked to sing at the playboy Jazz Festival, The International association of Jazz Educator’s Convention, and The Monterey Jazz Festival. She was also awarded Jazz Vocalist of the year by Barabra Morrison’s organization, The Young Educated Singers Inc. After graduating High School, Marisa attended Amherst University’s summer jazz program where she studied with jazz greats like Sheila Jordan, and Dr. Billy Taylor. She has also toured internationally with the Mt. San Antonio Chamber Singers and Downbeat Magazine's favorite Vocal Jazz Ensemble," SINGCOPATION" under the direction of Mr. Bruce Rogers. As of recently, Marisa graduated from California State University Northridge where she is recieved her Bachlor's Degree in Music Education, with a Choral Emphasis. Marisa is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in music education from USC. She has also been involved with numerous music organizations in the Los Angeles area including, The Hope Institute of Music, Eagle Rock Music Studio, and The Los Angeles Music and art School. Marisa has taught at LAMAS for the last six years teaching private voice, and more notably, conducting the L.A. Music & Art School’s Choral Ensemble.
