..Press release: Anoxia is a Funen-based metal-act, with 3 demo-releases and some 50 concerts across Denmark, under their belts. Musically ingredients are gathered from a variety of inspirations all across the metal-universe, spiced up with a touch of classic rock, all stirred into a thrashy brand of melodic metal, with a yet unique appearance. The band has been critically acclaimed for their energy-packed live-performances, and try hard to ensure that the musical goods are delivered to the concert-goer in a convincing manner. They strive to make the general impression of an Anoxia-show a tight musical energy-release. Anoxia is: Lars Frederiksen: Guitars and vocals Claus Nielsen: Guitars Allan Nielsen: Bass Soeren Frederiksen: Drums www.anoxia.dk Discography: 2003 : Melanchollision(Full length). 2001 : Far From This Time (EP). 1999 : Rain Will be Blood (EP).Bio: Lars and Soeren formed the first incarnation of the band, under a different name, though, back in 96. The music then was more straight-ahead punky hard rock, but the transformation into AnoxiA, and the evolution of our current style kicked off around 2000. The first taste of this was the 2000-demo Far from this time. Following, through the years was a lot of gigging, line-up-changes, the 2003-release Melanchollision, more gigging and then, finally; our new 6-tracker; the Kept in Sin-release. The line-up on this promo has been together since July 2004, and is, beyond any doubt, the strongest and most unified in the bands history. We are: Lars: Guitar/Vox, Sren: Drums, Allan: Bass and Claus: Guitar.
