I am here for Friends

About Me

Buy me things:
If I'm not busy, I'll find a way to be.
Dogs and puppies make me very happy.
I absolutely love reading. I have books borrowed from every corner of my friend-and-co-worker-spectrum, as well as a whole shelf full of brand new books I own and have yet to read.
There is always somewhere for me to crash in Astoria.
I'm certainly impatient. I don't have the patience to learn the process of learning patience. It's paradoxical.
I'm emo. Anyone that tells you different doesn't know me, and anyone that laughs at me will feel bad when they make me cry -- 'cept for Mike.
I love: Thomas Kinkade and Kim Anderson art, the Dan & Steve Show (see left), faeries, dragons, the beach, flowers, fun jewelry, every single one of my friends, sweatpants, flip-flops, happy meal toys, wine, imported beer, mojitos, the Brooklyn Bridge, summer BBQs, cows, autumn, BBQ sunflower seeds, learning and my boyfriend.
I have trouble letting go of the past, but so does everyone else.
Planned dates with Joana keep me sane.
I'm smarter and more logical than I give myself credit for. However, I end sentences with prepositions.
Within the next year, I will obtain a passport and travel outside of the United States for the first time...preferably to the UK, more likely to Ireland.
I am now what I used to mock: a 25-year old living at home full-time college student.
I am a psychology major. That means two things: 1) I have my own problems, and 2) Yes, I analyze you.
I have the following addictions:
~ grande iced skim cafe mochas with no whipped cream from starbucks
~ myspace surveys
~ tuesday night bowling with some of the best people EVER
~ the Mighty Boosh -- for serious, this show is wicked strange
~ anything British
~ Noel Fielding (and yes, he's from the Mighty Boosh)
~ summer thunderstorms
~ my car, 'cause it's a manual and a convertible
~ love & affection. I'm a total junkie.

My Blog

reminder.

I fell out of my slump the other day and teetered on its edge tonight, so I'd like to take this time, before I lose what I've been struggling to hold onto, to explain what's made me so much happier fo...

you made a decision; stick to it.

Sure sure, theoretically, I'm all for "forgiving & forgetting."  But I'm not.  I forgive you.  If you did me wrong, whoever you are -- my first boyfriend, a crazy girlfriend of...

I managed to talk my way to an A- on my philosophy paper.  For an hour.  With an intelligent philosophy major from England.  I connected with my math teacher on a mature, empathetic lev...

time off and hectic time back on (and Day 2)
