This space is for me. Instead of making an anouncement to the world about the kind of person I am or my experiences or intrests, I've decided to us it as a reminder to myself of the things that are important in life. Here goes: ------------------------------------------------------------
--------------"Deserve Victory." -----------------------"I do not know myself, for the moment I start to believe something, I begin to doubt it, and must destroy it again."---------------------"Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don't know how to replenish it's source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds. It dies of weariness, of withering. Of tarneshing." - Anais Nin----------------------------"Scratch and cynic any you'll find a disappointed idealist" - George Carlin----------------------------"Sometimes the things that may or may not be true are the things a man needs to believe in the most. That people are basically good; that honor, courage, and virtue mean everything; that power and money, money and power, mean nothing; that good always triumphs over evil; and I want you to remember this, that love... true love never dies. You remember that, boy. You remember that. Doesn't matter if it's true or not. You see, a man should believe in those things, because those are the things worth believing in." --------------------------------------"Nothing is trivial" ------------------------------------------------------------
--------------
"I, like God, do not play with dice and do not believe in coincidence." ------------------------------------------------------------
----- "In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity" ------------------------------------------------------------

An old Cherokee sits in front of a fire with his grandson. He looks at the boy, who is just learning about the world and says, "Inside us all is a battle between two wolves. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith." The grandson's brows furrow as he thinks and asks "Grandpapa, which wolf wins?" The old man smiles and says simply "The one you feed" ---------------------------------------------------------Hap
pieness is a choice. The secret is to find something you truly enjoy, and DO IT for as long as it makes you happy. ------------------------------------------------------------
--------------No one is a complete waste. They can always be used as a bad example. ------------------------------------------------------------
--------------"Fool me once; shame on you. Fool me twice; shame on me." ------------------------------------------------------------

A turist stands on a beach after a storm. He looks across the sand at thousands of starfish that have been washed ashore, now dying in the sun. A ways off he sees an old man bend down, pick up a starfish and throw it back in the water. He shakes his head as the old man repeats his action. After watching for a couple of minutes the tourist walks over to the old man and says "Why bother? You can't possibly save them all, it's not like you'll make a differance. There's thousands of them." The old man looks at the tourist, bends down, picks up a starfish, throws it back in the water and says "Made a difference to that one." ------------------------------------------------------
There are only two forces in the world. Love and Fear. What rules you? ------------------------------------"The problem with getting what you want is getting what you once wanted." -Neil Gaiman--------------------------------------We are who we pretend to be.
