About Me

I'm an aircraft mechanic with a regional airline. I've been married for 30 years to my wonderful wife and have two terrific kids, Mike and Jamie. I worked for several years in the auto and truck parts sales business, then in 1986 I went back to college to get my aircraft mechanic's license. I graduated in 1988 from Frederick (MD) Comm. College with my AS in Aviation Maintenance Tech. I've been working in that field ever since.I grew up and raised my family in Salisbury, MD. In the fall of 2001 my company opened a maintenance facility in SW Virginia and I had the opportunity to move there. My wife and I have always loved the mountains (several vacations spent there) so we took advantage of that opportunity and moved to a small town just south of Roanoke, VA. We love the area and hope to eventually buy a larger piece of property and build our dream/retirement home in the next year or two.
