I detest

misuse of apostrophes, non-use of semi-colons, people who aren't polite, the rising price of movie tickets, parents who can't (or, usually, WON'T) discipline their children, and people who disrespect others' beliefs

I maintain

that the objective in life is to be happy, and that each moment is meant to be absorbed and appreciated; that we are all the many which make up the One because One is the largest number there is; and that in the end, this will all have been worth it. Scott Westerfeld, Stephenie Meyer, Caroline B. Cooney, Madeleine L'Engle, JK Rowling, JRR Tolkein, JD Salinger (is he still alive?)

Heroes:

People who stand up for themselves, but who don't walk on others as they do it.
