A bit of an update. I have been playing solo shows for over a decade now...wow...when I say it like that I feel I am getting old...and have always wanted to make a record with a variety of super talented musicians in the Boston area. I am in the process of making that record with my brother Scott (of Dragstrip Courage, The Russians, The Great Bandini and Steely Dan fame...yes, believe it or not Scott was the original tambourine player for The Dan) at The Moontower Recording Studio which he co-owns with Mike Quinn and Daren Ottiviani(both Russians and outstanding individuals in their own right). "Some of Us", "It's Alright Don't Think Twice", "Be My Valentine" and "A Lot Like Being Missed" were all recorded recorded at home and is kind of an indication of where my head is at these days. The record will basically be me and my friend Stu Berk(Kristen Cifeli, Blue, etc..) and, if I can persuade them, Kevin Barry, Duke Levine, Andrew Mazzone and William Beard the Third (collectively known sometimes affectionately as The Dennis Brennan Orchestra by Peter Wolf). These lovely gentlemen have played with some of the greatest artists in the world and are world class musicians, not to mention outstanding human beings. Scott will hopefully lay down some of the "Sugar Wall" harmonies he is famous for. Thank you all for your interest and patience. As soon as the record is done I will let all 6 of you know.
