My work is composed of antique and vintage components rejuvenated and redefined with a modern twist. When I create my jewelery, I am driven by my love and appreciation for days of old. The notion that I am creating an heirloom quality piece of costume jewelery from pieces of someone's life, to be added as a collection into a new person's life, excites me.
The satisfaction of my customers and the stories they grant me after receiving their one of a kind wearable art, is my great motivation. My process, from the cherry picking of components at an estate sale all the way to the tissue paper wrap and organza bag brings me a great joy.
The fact that at any given moment a woman somewhere in the world is wearing a piece of my work and it's unique to them and them only, revives my need to handcraft more jewelery. My goal is to bring a unique kind of person to my collection, the kind of spirit that looks for quality, antiquity, romance and a story; a person who is the final touch to the piece.
