This page is set up in memory of Melanie J. Cronin by her cousin Janine. We hope this is a place where friends and family can come to remember Mel and the amazing young woman that she was. Melanie J. Cronin was born in November of 1974. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Melanie had a passion for horses and managed her family's horse farm in Rhode Island. She was compassionate, loved all animals and could brighten a room with her "infamous" Melanie smile. Our family was devastated when she was diagnosed in 2003 with ACC and after a 2 yr battle, we lost her in February 2005. Melanie's bravery and courage was isurmountable...a true lesson to us all about how to live life to the fullest, never looking back & living each day like it's your last. We are put on this earth for a short time so enjoy the ride.
Melanie, we know you are a beautiful butterfly flying freely out there somewhere and we thank God for letting you be a part of our lives.
Sunny days seem to hurt the most
Wear the pain like a heavy coat
I feel you everywhere I go
See your smile, I see your face
I hear you laughing in the rain
Still can't believe your gone
It ain't fair you died to young
Like a story that had just begun
But death tore the pages all away
God knows how I miss you
All the hell that I've been through
Just knowing, no one could take your place
Sometimes I wonder, who you'd be today
Would you see the world
Would you chase your dreams
Settle down with a family
I wonder what would you name your babies
Someday's the sky's so blue
I feel like I can talk to you
And I know it might sound crazy
Sunny days seem to hurt the most
I wear the pain like a heavy coat
The only thing that gives me hope
Is I know, I'll see you again someday
