Who could have ever imagined that SDP would be celebrating their 20th year as a young successful band in the Portuguese community. Every time they hit the stage, you can feel the energy, fun and musicality Sonhos De Portugal delivers on a nightly basis. Feeling and emotion that can only be created by five guys that truly love what they are doing. Coming together to perform music, create albums not only for themselves but their fans is what these five Canadian born musicians do best!!! Portuguese music isn't littered with over night success stories. It’s with hard work, sacrifice and commitment that has allowed SDP to push new musical boundaries within Portuguese music. A continuous want to learn and appetite to expand their musical talents has allowed SDP to travel the world over the last two decades, each place bringing a new story and endless memories. SDP have just completed their newest cd project. "Portugues A Toda Hora" and it promises to be the best SDP album to date. "It's a challenge for us to come up with new ideas, but once we get into the studio it all come's alive" says Nelson. "When I get into the studio I let my fingers do the talking" says Steve. It’s the creative team of SDP and Jerry Rodrigues that worked once again together on this new album.SDP has worked with other local bands, singers, songwriters and artists and wants to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone one of them for the continuous support!!!
