Oh my gosh... are you joking me...

About Me

I was given a name once; Michael was that name. Although most now call me Mike, the point is I've had it as long as I can remember. My high school career at Reno High has now ended, and I will be attending UC Berkeley's College of Chemistry next fall. I do a lot of things and complain about a lot of things, but despite my cynicism, I joke a lot, ableit mostly in a sarcastic manner. I'm pretty serious about some stuff, but not as much as people think. I usually think I'm right, but other people can judge whether or not I am, haha. I spend a lot of time on the computer, so if you wanna talk to me my AIM = l33t357 . Keep it revolutionary, but keep it gangsta.

My Interests

I am interested in many different things in the hope that I might be more interesting. Let me not trivialize the issues by making a long list of possible interests. If it's interesting, I'm interested.

I'd like to meet:

*shrugs* People, I guess-- preferably not of the jerk variety. Whatever works though.

Music:

I like a lot of different music from post-modern progressive rock and metal to rap. Currently the following top my list: Isis, Red Sparowes, Tool, Pelican, Neurosis, Rage Against the Machine, Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Pink Floyd. There are others, but I'm not listing them right now.

Movies:

Go Minotaur!!! Naw, but seriously. Let's go with the all time favorites: Star Wars, LOTR, Collateral, Last Samurai, A Beautiful Mind, and The Departed. I always enjoy comedies, but they're not on the list.

Television:

TV? I haven't seen much of that lately. I still have memories... Simpson's, Family Guy, Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond, House. Lately, the only thing I've really watched has been NFL Network, which could be the best channel ever, some ESPN, and with that some poker. Oh and this show "I shouldn't be alive." Those people are unlucky as shit, haha

Books:

Favorite readings: Robinson Crusoe, Smokey the Cow Horse (no, I am not joking you), 1984, Hatchet, LOTR, Doomsday, The Vanished, Gulliver's Travels, Phil Helmuth Jr's Texas Hold 'Em.Planned readings: Romance of the Three Kingdoms and The Inferno.

Heroes:
