Just making music as a form of self expression. It all started with an ASRX, doing cheesey hip hop 5 years ago. From there i moved to computer based sequencing, and production using reason, and a shitty pc that gave me the blue screen every 3 hours for one year straight. Thats when i moved up to a macbook pro. Reason was not enough for what i wanted to do. Also, at that time, i was doing experimental hiphop. More IDM. My brother had told me about renoise(tracker) which i now use for my DAW since 2008. It has really gave me no limits to my music production. since i have used renoise, i have really explored my boundaries(are none) And have broken off to IDM, Breakcore, Dubstep and other experimental forms of music. I will always have my foot set in hiphop though, which i usually now manipulate, twist, and rape till its more like glitchhop, and IDM.
I am heavily influenced by V snares insane, godly sound manipulation. Wisps, amazing smooth, In my opinion best IDM ever. Aphex twins obvious originality, and pioneering of IDM has won great respect aswell. Secedes album "tryshasla" Is probably the one cd i will never forget, and will always listen to. Edit Remade what hip hop should really be. His album crying over pros has really turned me back into glitchhop/ IDM. Much respect. Bassnectar has singly inspired me to make great sounding dance music. And DJ it too!!!! Lastbut not least, Exile and his ability to pretty much do anything on the spot. His Dj style is much of what i would like to do myself. His music is awesome aswell!
So, i prettty much am fueled by all of these amazing artists. They are all my gurus with music.
