SSI is an independent film and video company established in New York City by a group of filmmakers with the objective of creating a series of video documentaries with the help of Troy Reed as Director of Operations. Targeting 15 to 45 year old men and women interested in the urban lifestyle, our intent is to offer mainstream society an in depth look into the hard reality of underground street life of money, drugs, prison and Life and Death, and the tragedy of it all. Overall, Street Stars can be characterized as the closest thing to reality in the streets of NYC. Our documentaries offer a birds-eye view of a gritty life that most of us will never experience.
