Nijinsky Style

About Me

Urban electrified waltz, tango and chanson.
NIJINSKY STYLE was founded in 1988 by Tina Sanudakura and Andy Schwarz after the two had closed the chapter NO MORE.
They took out time to chase well-propotioned doses of chanson, waltz and tango through the amplifiers and to explore a new the balance between melancholy and drama, between the present and the past.
They made their debut in 1989 with the single "Now's the Time", this "brilliant" waltz (TAZ).
In 1992, the album "Memories To Come" followed.
The press was enthusiastic, but when the distributor gave up the ghost the album sank into immediate oblivion.
The TIP (Berlin) wrote:
""Memories To Come" dashes through just about every border ...folk and poip meet up with waltz, tango and chanson, jumps around in a wild circle, rejoicing in pure joy of life and energy, to suddenly pause and wistfully indulge in nostalgic memories.
It is probably this crazy mixture which fascinates and gives expression to all "memories to come.""
In 1995, Tina Sanudakura and Andy Schwarz ended the project NIJINSKY STYLE.
Since 2003, they also been working under the name of VENUS 45 as an music & arts duo.
The album "Memories To Come" was rereleased in November 2005 (dig. remastered) at Fuego as a download album.
At the beginning of 2006, the prev. unreleased album "Lost In Paradise" and the live album "Burlesque Show" were released at Fuego as download albums.
During 2006 they worked on the new album of their old band NO MORE called REMAKE/REMODEL.
