I begin to study drums in the year of 1994 in the Instituto de Capacitación Musical with Alex Camacho, and later on I taked private lessons with rock drummer Brian Bonilla. In the year of 1999 I started studying with drummer Mauricio Gámez a graduated from Los Angeles Music Academy (L.A.M.A.) and I was the first student who concludes his professional program for drummers. As a complement, I had taken piano, bass and music theory lessons during the years. I worked as a drum and music theory instructor in Música y Misiones, Conservatorio Faro de Caribe, Modern Music School, In Nova music school and private lessons. I had been member of several bands through the years, some of them are: Oasis de Esperanza (Gospel), Proyecto Abraham (Rock), Antigona (Proggressive Metal), Mekatelyu (Reggae Roots), Northern (Latin-Jazz Ensemble), Blue Jazz (Jazz, Bossa nova and RnB), Ice breakers - Smirnoff Ice project of the brewery of Costa Rica (Electronic), Luna Di Vietro (Rock) and Time’s forgotten (Progressive) among others. I had the pleasure of touring Spain, Portugal, Mexico and Costa Rica. I also played with musicians like Fernando Ulibarri (Berklee), Tony Fernandez (Cuba), Nestor Ramljak (Non Palidece) Michelle Lane (Berklee), Randolph Jimenez (CR), Luis Nuviola (Cuba), Aron Retana (CR), Danilo Castro (CR), Ryan Carniaux (Berklee), Fidel Nadal and Pablo Molina (Todos tus Muertos - Lubumba), Mark Dunn and Sasha Campbell among others.
