About Me

Playing in a 'new' band, called The Tres Bien Ensemble! I also play in Wayne Omaha and in The Violet Archers. (Those are all rock and roll bands, folks.) Once in a while I even let it mellow and play all by myself (usually on piano), but that's not really rock and roll. I play guitar, but don't really think of myself as a 'guitarist'. I play piano, similarly. I toot on things like melodicas and flutes and slide whistles and hack around on things like mandolins and basses. One day I will own a viola. One day I will also own a Fender Mustang. And a Telecaster. I play hockey, with the Parkdale Hockey Lads. Sometimes I even score goals, too, but not very often.

Julius, meet Georgia.

Maybe spring is the best season.  On my way to the Romantic Place the other night, I decided to take a different alley.  The alley of dreams.  There was one of those 'low-rise...

Oooh baby.

Okay, so not to be too happy or anything, but this weather rocks.  I've got Julius (my tasty orange bike) on the road and it's killer.  Nothing like a breeze in your face to l...

"Mandy: The Rampage."

Mixed emotions about this one.  A fair number of you will know Mandy, Wayne Omaha's 1986 10-door stretch Suburban tour van.  We took her up to the Yukon back in 2000 with Dale Mo...

What a week...and it's only Wednesday.

So Monday I head down to the Australian Boot Company to pick up my new Blundstones.  (Every member of the Hockey Lads won a pair for winning the Original Exclaim Cup this year.)  Huge...
