Lost Angels is a four piece original Hard Rock/Alternative band, hailing from Adelaide, South Australia. Having formed in late 2006, using the benefit of time, the band has continually evolved and today delivers nothing short of heart stopping live performances.
The creative energy of Lost Angels comes from Chris (vocals), Steve (guitar and vocals), Gerard (bass) and Nick (drums) – collectively these guys are the driving force behind the vision and sound that is Lost Angels.
Daring to be different in the South Australian music scene, Lost Angels have continued to follow one simple design for their tunes – mixing hard rock riffs and strong melodies with honest heartfelt lyrics. The band continue to consolidate their sound and have penned exciting new material, which coupled with their stirring live performances, is forcing people to stand up and take notice.
The band has gained momentum since playing their first gig in February ’07 and is racking up respect and numbers all over the Adelaide music scene. 2008 has seen the South Australian band share the stage with the likes of JUKE KARTEL (VIC), FREESTATE (VIC), FAMOUS BY ASSOCIATION (VIC), MAYFIELD, GALLEON and DAY ON FIRE to name a few. The band continues to make their presence felt and have become headliners in their own right. Plans are now underway for Lost Angels to extend its fan base even further and will hit the road later this year.
Lost Angels have just finished recording a much anticipated 3 track mini EP at the legendary Chapel Lane Studios (Ben Folds Five, Savage Garden).
Live performances will continue to dominate the upcoming Lost Angels schedule – performances sure to excite both their hometown and interstate audiences - with numbers to increase off the back of the release of their later in the year.
