Oi! The Arrase was formed in 1997. The idea for the bandcreation came from the drummer Victor and an Ex-member of the band SERGIO. Both made a radioprogramme in "Radio ACTIVITAT" where they also played Oi! music because there wasn't an Oi!Punk band in Mallorca they decided to form the band.
The band was formed to have fun and to name the incidents in their way.
They released 1 demo "Punks & Skins" with 11 songs. It was sold out after a few month and is reissued in italy through "Restarude Records" at the moment. . 2 songs on the Oi! It's a world invasion Vol. 3 sampler. - 2 songs on
SHARP-Punk and Oi! Vol. 11 - sampler at bronco bullfrog. 3 live songs on the tapesampler kaoss cinta for the support of anarchistig prisoners. Anarkoi! debut-cd with 21 songs, august 1998 brought out by the labels bronco bullfrog and arrase records.
The songtexts are about their problems, about parties, about what happens around them etc. and the theme "workingclass" is very important because their families are a part of it. They say "It would be stupid to sing / talk about things that we never experienced. If we get into fights with the police or with other gangs, it's logical to sing / talk about it!
Rebellion against a society wich we don't like, neither its system nor its laws or its way of live etc.! Oi! Punk is action, struggle, unity and of course having fun!
