About Me

Everyday I want to better myself and the circumstances of those I hold dear. I'm ambitious, intelligent and far too empathic for my own good. Thats all you need to know.

I'd like to meet:

To ourselves, we are great. Yet most of us live life without making a stand, contented to blend into the background of self-rendering nothingness, and when looking back feel contented at our mediocre accomplishments. Nobody remembers the person who conformed out of inadequacy. Nobody notices a patch of grass, they see the tree...Im most interested in people who can see the significant in the insignificant things in life, non-judgemental of the ordinary, appreciation for everything thats around them, most of all, people who inspire me. Life is not measured by the breaths we take but the moments that take our breath away. Life is measured by the lessons learnt.

Music:

I normally have chilled out music (anything ranging from jazz to classical to indie) in the background of where ever I am as it helps me think and relax. For partying it has got to be funkyhouse, hardhouse, hiphop and garage. Cant beat Chris De Burgh, Eric Clapton, Damien Rice, Amos Lee, Jack Johnson, Lionel Richie-- the oldies are always the best. I am quite passionate about my music, it is the fruit of life.

Movies:

The Fugitive, Meet Joe Black, Micky Blue-Eyes, Lord of the Rings, The Green Mile, Terminator, Aliens, Closer, Napoleon Dynamite, Zoolander, Dodgeball, Naked Guns, Spoof films, Quality British films, Sad oriental films (dont ask). Abit of a movie go'er definately.

Television:

I dont really have the time to watch TV so normally I just download the ones ive seen bits of and really liked. Stuff like comedies, Sci-Fis, Fantasy, 24, The Office, Scrubs, Time Gentleman Please, Futurama, Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, Lost, Angel, SG1, Any property programs.

Books:

I have a thing for books, to me they are very important-- infact reading is one of lifes greatest pleasures... saying that though i am actually a rediculously slow reader =/ Current favourites so far are Animal Farm, 1984, The Alchemist, Veronika Decides to Die, Harry Potter, The Da Vinci Code, Dilbert books, Only Love is Real, Memiors of a Geisha, Business books, books on human nature, books by Brian Weiss, books by Alan Pease, books by Paulo Coelho the list goes on. If you've read a book that touches or enlightens you in one form or another then I'd love to hear about it.

Heroes:

People who respect themselves and the world around them.Edit: I'm sure at one point or another I was meant to make this page really interesting, witty and ROFL-humourous-- much like how I am in real life lol... sure why not.
