Drifting In The Cinema

The theater, dimly lit by a few electric light fixtures fastened to the velvet walls. The floor is sticky, but the seats are unusually comfy. The theater smells like a theater.The crowd has already settled down, except for a few who hurry their way to the concession area to get their snacks, and those people who have just arrived, disoriented and blindly attempting to secure seats.The crowd grows restless. The theater is filled with their collective chatters... Nobody cares about the noise.A switch, a collective sigh, and silence follows... For a few seconds, darkness reigns. A series of mechanical clicks coming from the back disturb the silence. A flash of bright light on the gigantic screen briefly illuminates the theater... The picture...
