About Me
I get my Free MySpace Layouts at LayoutStreet.comYoung Trajik, aka Rickey Harris was born on November 3rd 1985 in Washington D.C. His mother was in the army, which kept him relocating as a youth throughout the southern region of the U.S. In 1994, at the age of 9, he and his mother moved from Savannah, GA to Warren, Ohio after a death in the family. Life was everything but easy for the family living in the notorious projects of "Fairview Gardens" in Warren. So it was only natural for Trajik to look towards aveneues of emotional release. Luckily, he found music and sports.
Trajik, along with a few neighborhood friends, would spend time recording and packaging tapes. They would release them to their nighborhood friends who immediately liked what they heard. They formed the group "Da Hardhittaz" which later changed to "The 44 Click" a numeric abbreviation for "HH". Together they continued making tapes, selling their recordings and performing at local parties. During High school the group disbanded due to lifestyle changes. It seemed as if the others' hearts were not in it like Trajik's. Nonetheless, TRAJIK trudged on as a solo artist, knowing that one day he would be a star.
At the age of 16 he appeared in the local Warren,OH Newspaper, the "Tribune Chronicle"[www.pageoneonline.net/main/archive/jul23rd01/0527

Mr. Harris enough publicity to be featured in HOOD Magazine's March/April edition in 2007 along with MAyNSTREAM magazine out of Youngstown,OHIO; Alert Mag out of Columbus,OH; & Upperclassmen Mag out of New York.
In the spring of 2007, Young Trajik realeased a mixtape entitled "American Dream". Without the help of a major record deal or worldwide distribution, the mixtape reached fans in Alabama,Florida,Georgia,Missouri,New York,Ohio and Tennessee. After the American Dream release, Young Trajik had his first head liner show named after his SMASH MIXTAPE in the summer of 2007, in which 400 people were in attendance including representative from 101.9 fm Youngstown(Janette Singleton).Trajik has inked a artist deal with independent label Screw-u-Records with a national distribution deal with Universal Music Group & Federal Distrubution and just finished working on his national debut album "The Best Kept Secret", which will be available on Itunes on Dec.23,2008. While Making alot of noise with his smash hit single in the clubs "THERE DAT BOY GO", the track is also available on ringtones for EVERY cell phone provider(sprint, alltel, boost, tmobile(caller tunes),revol, ect) and Itunes.com. Young Trajik has also opened up for such major acts as : Young Buck (G-Unit), Juvenile (Atlantic), Sunny Valentine (Jive) Hurricane Chris(Collipark), Dj Unk (Big Oomp), and the "And 1 Street Ballaz" Tour with numerous headliner shows.
