Teacher Biography

My name is Jesse Reese, I'm a Berklee College of Music Alum, and have been playing guitar for 9 years. My focus has been primarily electric guitar, and I have studied various styles such as Rock, Blues, and Funk.

-Beginning Guitarists, the first step is to find what you would like to learn then give you the tools you need to get to your desired skill level. While the main focus will be what you would like to learn, I will also teach you the basics of Chords, Scales, and how they work together. Plus a basic understanding of the layout of the notes on the guitar.

-Intermediate Guitarists, the first step is to determine your skill level. Then correct any potential bad habits that could hinder your progress of becoming a better musician. What I can offer you is more insight to the advanced world of the guitar, by teaching you more advanced scales and improve techniques plus building chops. Can't forget those chords, we will also work on more advanced chords as well. If you are interested in understanding how to read music I can also teach the basic tools you need to learn any song you want.
