With shows at the Cat Club on Sunset, the Blues Café in Long Beach, and the House of Blues in Anaheim under her belt, Lindsay Shelton continues to pursue her career as a writer, singer, guitarist, and co-producer of her debut solo album.Shelton’s influences include masterful lyricists Jack Johnson, John Lennon, Joni Mitchell, and the list goes on. Like these great musicians, Shelton writes about experiences and mini moments in life. “The lyrics are as real, heart-felt, and blunt as I am in everyday life.†Her musical style is significantly influenced by the music she was raised on, such as jazz, folk music, opera, different forms of rock, and the blues.
