For those of you that know me, but havent seen me for awhile; you are probably wondering what happened to my long blonde hair. Well, I was diagnosed with breast cancer not long after my 25th birthday. I have been to Hell and back but I survived!! I went through 8 cycles of chemo every other week for 16 weeks, then I went through radiation everyday for 6 1/2 weeks. But that is all in the past now!! I am doing great and even getting a little hair back!! I am now in the process of starting a non-profit organization for the cancer patients in our area. It is called Codington County Cares and we will be having different fundraisers throughout the year to help local patients with whatever they may need. Whether it is money, food, or just someone to sit with them while they are getting a treatment, we will be there!! I am so excited about this project and I know it has helped me to get through my battle with the disease.Thanks to everyone who has supported me in this, you will never know how you have impacted my life!!
