Band Members: If anyone has ever told you that you can't then Terry Mardi Music is for you, Terry Mardi was established in 1858 in India and opposed oppression and rose to become the highest paid fashion designer in all of India and eventually the entire British Commonwealth.
Influences: Indian Singers such as Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhosle and the great Lata Mangeshkar not forgetting folk singers such as Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Composers such as RD Burman and South Indian Influences from Jolly Mukherjee. Western Vocals influenced by Kim Burrel (Beyonce's Vocal Guru) and soulful tones from Luther Vandross. Contemporaries that influence us are The Neptunes, Joe, Brian Mcknight, Boyz II Men, Timbaland, we love the direction Gnarls Barkley have gone in. The Allstars are the most amazing band I have heard live... check them out. Session Musicians that are SERIOUS about music.70's Funk, 80's POP, 90's R&B, 00's Indian influence, Terry Mardi Music pays homage to the late Terry Mardi (the greatest Fashion Hero to ever have lived in India).
