I am here for Networking

About Me

Ex freelance music journo & indie club DJ gradually learning the skills that will allow me to be un-dependant on the vile commercial lifestyle we're supposed to want. A mixture of illness, injuries, transport hassles and a high pressure job meant that I stopped clubbing and seeing many bands a few years back. Maybe the upcoming smoking ban will get me out a bit more - still love music, just don't miss the claustrophobia and phoney people being friendly for their own benefit.Glad to be of Welsh descent.Howard's a graphic designer (kind of the quietly effective Barbara to my enthusiastic and hyper Tom in our attempts at urban farming) and though maybe not as openly cynical as me, is equally as disillusioned with this "Planet Tesco" we appear to be heading for.Our long term hope is to move to a smallholding, preferably in mid-Wales, where we can grow our own food, make our own cider and cheese, keeping goats and chickens (and anything else there's room for).

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Positive, open-minded, thoughtful people. New friends to share ideas and friends of old to catch up on news and relive the good times.

So farewell Clement Freud......

Cultured, witty, erudite.  The obituaries have recalled you as a man of charm, intellect and good taste. And yet, to those of us of a "certain" age, your finest hour has been omitted.GRIMBLE

The Year Turns Another Corner
