Boom-A-Ranks Sound is an authentic Brussels, Belgium based reggae soundsystem. Founded in 2001, we gradually claimed our place in the soundsystem landscape.It all started when BigNem and Eazyhaiz decided to take their love for Reggae muzic to another level. Boom-A-Ranks Sound was born and as we grew stronger, our vinyl collection started to grow bigger and bigger. Soon after, Lecta4 and Mista D joined in, later on Bubu T, Sista Sigi and Inspectah Steve completed the sound crew. Today, we stand strong as a firm crew of 5 eclectic deejays, one slightly disturb yet talented MC and one lovely “gyal powa†party promotor. Boom-A-Ranks is typically known for a wicked combination of all kinds of reggae styles, from classical dancehall to heavy dub, from ragga to socca, from roots reggae to hip hop remixes. Boom-A-Ranks is also building a strong reputation as A-class party promotors. We aim to please the massive, spreading the right(eous) vibe in every single party we promote. In 2004, we joined forces with Jugglin’ Discotheque and, united by a common love for reggae music, we produced RaggaCircus, a big event in honour of the Belgian reggae scene. Many of you came to freak out at the RaggaCircus and we hope to bring you more of that in the near future ...We would like to thank the Boom-A-Ranks massive for their support and friendship throughout the years.
