Xavi Beat, also known as X-Beat, is acknowledged for having a career of more than 14 years as a professional disc jockey and another couple of years more as a producer, developing diverse kinds of works during all this time.
For four years he was sound technician in the records company Vale Music in Spain. He is now an Artist and Repertoire label manager, mainly for the company’s record labels: Tanga and Tanga Tech. Xavi Beat has created compilation albums that are of reference in the music sector with titles such as ELECTRO HOUSE, CULTURA DE CLUB, IBIZA UNITED, FRESCO COMPILATION, and many others.
Working as a producer Xavi beat has generated productions like: Faby & Xavi Beat "Nova 4", Xavi Beat "Open Up", X-Beat "Sexual Relations" and X-Beat "Sexual Relations" (Rmx). He has also created the following remixes: Rubber Soul "Can You Releate" and Sharpside "I Love Techno". His music has been involved in compilation albums as prestigious as Technics "The Original Sessions" (Vol. 2, 3, 4, 5), Master DJ (Vol. 1), Las Catedrales del House (Vol. 1), Universo Dj, Fresco 04 Xavi Veat cosmic Sound and Fresco 08 Xavi Beat Push / Pressure.
His work as a DJ and producer are not the only responsibilities he combines together with being an A&R label manager within Vale Music, he also participates as a reviewer in the techno section of Deejay, the prestigious official dance magazine and is involved as a collaborator in different dance radio programs in Barcelone.
Further more, during 14 years Xavi Beat has been a resident DJ for several vanguard clubs which include Menfis 3 (Villalba, Barcelona), Triple Zona (Granollers, Barcelona), Casino (Barcelona), Terminal (Granollers, Barcelona), Circus Nature (Cardedeu, Barcelona) and Orbital (Barcelona).
Since 1998, X-Beat has been resident in the Cosmic Club de Millenium in Girona, where he generates sets of techno house and electro house, with touches of minimal house. He combines this residency with another residence, playing techno in the Supernova sessions, and with different gigs around the Spanish territory.
During this time, Xavi Beat has achieved a professional status that has given him the opportunity of playing in the best clubs in the nation as well as internationally. His suitcase has travelled to France, Amsterdam, Berlin, Miami, Brescia (Italia) and Moscow.His name has appeared in well known festivals such as Sonimag 1998, Megaplec Dance Barcelona (1998 y 1999), TechnoHouse Festival of Madrid (2000), ADE festival ..msterdam (2004 y 2005), POPKOMM in Berlin (2003-04-05) o WMC in Miami (2004-2005)
In the year 2004, Xavi Beat co-founded FRESCO RECORDS with his friends David Amo & Julio Navas, a label that has earned worldwide acceptance.
