---excerpted from Interview with the Burning Spear Newspaper."With the music that I make I just want whoever listens to it to be able to feel the experience that I'm takin them through on whatever track. My music reflects the streets and what it means to come from where I come from. Im a mirror reflectin the various and sometimes contradictory elements in the society that produced me.That includes reflections from everything from the pimp game to the street hustle. From the revolutionaries to the cold blooded killers. From feelin that hopelessness to feelin like you just wanna get crunk. It all comprises one city and all these things pull at you for attention. I want people to be able to play a track at any moment in their life that reflects what they goin through. I want to hit you where you at and take you where we need to go. As far as I'm concerned, if we ain't talkin bout liberation we ain't really talkin. It's like Pac said, "if you wanna be a gangsta then let's make a revolution, but Ni**az don't wanna do that - they just want the image."The mixtape I'm workin hard to finish right now is called "The First Mixtape Ever". I call it that because every so often somebody comes along in an era and totally redefines the game. This is the first mixtape in the redefintion of an era. Building on those that came before me, the music is carefully crafted and intended to advance the next generation of rap.I'm heavy on lyrics, I spit wit the combination of a down south accent and a mid-west flow. Ride wit my music and the whole picture and you'll see how we goin change the game. It's an ambitious project but it's hittin the streets real hard right now."
