Old idea - new direction. We define the Euroregion Meuse-Rhine as a new, sparkling and international metropolis. We call it Eutropolis: cosmopolitan, contemporary, cultural and very outgoing. Wake up, open your mind, go out, cross borders, scale up, express, share, make it happen and let’s stick together. Travel the world but be aware of the fact that in your close surroundings also very refreshing, new ideas are being developed and realized. At a grabbing distance art, culture, shops, music, events, design, food and new concepts…. are initiated by great people with a different mindset. The whole idea of MAHL Magazine is to share all these new (and good old) initiatives. Originally representing the cities of Maastricht, Aachen, Hasselt, Heerlen and Liège we found out even before we launched the first issue: Eutropolis is bigger than that. Sittard-Geleen, Parkstad Limburg, Eschweiler, Tongeren, Teuven, Vaals, Huy - you name it. MAHL keeps you updated, informed and guided - searching Eutropolis for anything good, new, refreshing, different or just weird.
