Micah Oved was born in Los Angeles, California in 1982. His family made Aliya when he was young and he grew up in Israel. During his High School years, he spent time in Shalom Rav Yeshiva in Tsfat. The spiritual atmosphere of Tsfat served as an inspiration for much of his music. The lyrics of his newest CD, "I Recall My Song", features Tehillim, Tefilla (prayers) and original works. He plays an array of instruments in "I Recall My Song", such as electric and acoustic guitar and harmonica. His unique talents show up best during the many instrumental parts of his creations. He has a soothing, soft voice and creates a relaxing, fresh sound. He is married and has a son and lives in Jerusalem.
