Mark Raudabaugh

About Me

Mark began playing drums while living in England during the early 90’s. After moving back to the States, he attended Gainesville High School in Gainesville, FL where he was involved in both the marching and jazz bands. He was also a State Champion Tennis player for GHS as well. Mark later received a music (jazz) scholarship to Florida State University where he studied under Leon Anderson Jr. (drummer for Ellis Marsalis, Marcus Roberts). While at FSU, Mark had the opportunity to perform with jazz greats: Wyclef Gordon, Ellis Marsalis, Victor Goines, Manuel Valera, John Sneider, and Joe Magnarelli, among others.
Since graduating from FSU in 2003, Mark has toured the US, Canada, and Japan with artists such as Bobby Lee Rodgers and The CodeTalkers and Papa Mali. He also has played with Charice (Oprah, David Foster), Bobby Sparks and Keith Anderson (Marcus Miller Band, Roy Hargrove & RH Factor), Andreas Oberg (Swedish jazz Guitar virtuoso), among others.
Currently based out of Atlanta, Mark is busy playing and recording around the area. You can catch him with The Soulphonics and Ruby Velle and with the Grant Green Jr. Band, among others.
