the mcneil story.. born in glasgow..scotland....yeh im a scot moved to australia in 1970...lived in port melbourne 35 years now..at high school..at 13..got asked to join a band..was taught how to play..and that was it..within month's..i was playin chuck berry ac/dc..led zep..and many more thanx too tony and steve ..it was in my blood.. then made the decision to do it on my own with no recording experience so i think i've done ok went on to form more bands in melbourne.... worked with larry russell in cannon fodder...recorded with les russell the twits...steve long...and many others... these songs recorded in my bedroom...on a 8 track recorder..thats why they sound a bit ruff...hope to get in to proper studio soon....any way...hope you enjoy...oh and thanks mum...for the money for my first guitar it did not go to waste... all songs played by mcneil..are original..all instruments are played by mcneil..all recordings and mixing are done by mcneil....at home studio....
