Being true to oneself has helped AL-E Baba persevere through turbulent times. ****"AL-E Baba," Smith raps for the those in the struggle and the underprivileged.

This environment help to mold the man he is today. He now resides in Winston-Salem, N.C. He believes that it is North Kock It Back's time. He wants and has in!!! AB is holding down two states. Correct that, he's holding down Hip-Hip. His influences are his people that are close to him.AL-E Baba calls his close ones "his guns," because they are always there when he needs them.*******************************************
His style... "is a breath of fresh air", says AL-E Baba. He states, " I try to talk about different topics and stay true to the music I grew up on." Capital J, a prominent entity in North Carolina gave AL-E Baba his "first mic." This love for Hip-Hop gave a way for this MC to learn from some of the best and brightest talent in this musical genre. Along with, Darc Jaf and super producer Ry*Starr they formed the illbians.Now AL-E Baba is Live Wire Entertainment. The company's founders are Brian Keith and AL-E Baba.
