I am a full time magician. I perform children's, close-up, corporate, strolling, stage, and gospel magic in the Atlanta, Georgia and surrounding areas. If it has to do with magic, I love it. I love to create. I am also a balloon twister, photographer, calligrapher, artist and now I am learning woodworking from my father. I also love optical illusions and drawing my own.I love God, my husband and my 2 precious daughters. I love people, I love to laugh, listen, and communicate. I learned sign language so that I can communicate with the deaf. I love to read and constantly learn new things. I have a special place in my heart for those who need someone to believe in them and tell them that they can succeed.I am about making a difference in this world. God has put me on this earth for but a brief period of time and I want to use that time to bring magic into this world. The magic can be spread by a work of the hands in a magic show, or it can happen on the street by acknowledging someone with a bit of eye contact and a smile. Magic can happen when you tell someone "you've done a great job" or paying the tab for someone that you don't know.
Real magic isn't reserved just for magicians, and real magic is not an illusion, it is inside each and every person, and should be "performed" on a daily basis. One Saturday, I had just concluded a magic show for a four year old girl when a mother of 3 children came to me with these comments. "I just wanted to thank you for making me smile. I was having a really bad day before I came to the party, but during the show my kids and I were laughing and having and the greatest time and I forgot all about my problems. Thanks again".
I started thinking about that mom on my drive home and it reminded me of one of my favorite movies, "Pay it Forward". Since the mom was now in a better state of mind, she would not be so hard on the kids if they acted "like kids" on the way home. If she stopped anywhere on the way home, perhaps she would be a bit nicer to the cashier who was serving her and then that cashier would be nicer to the next person, etc. Hey, it could happen....
