Blessings and PraisesIn 2003, furious over the lack of quality sounds in the tri state area, two young Black males decided to intervene on behalf of party goers everywhere and bring back the essence of the DJ soundsystem. Armed at first with just some mp3's, a laptop, and a mic, Focus and Eru Salute began on their quest to keep people dancing all over the place. However, in 2006, Salute and Focus took their pursuits to the next level, as they linked up with one of the hottest new MC's on the Dancehall Scene, Sample Kid aka SK, and the talented DJ'S, Gee-tah and YankTrini. It was then that STRICTLY BUSINESS SOUNDS was formed. Now, in 2008, with the addition of its newest member, G-Power, the "Immaculate Sound" is set to establish themselves as one of the most legit soundsystems in the tri state area. In the five years since Salute and Focus first began to lay the foundation for Strictly Business, the sound has had the privelege of performing at clubs in NYC and New Jersey and a list of colleges in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We specialize in mixing Dancehall,Reggae, Hip Hop, R and B, and Soca. As you can see, we are very versitile in our range of music genres as we aim to please all those who engage in a Strictly Business Party experience.
